Raheem Sterling Foundation and world’s largest sports radio station talkSPORT have partnered to launch a brand-new Broadcast Academy in London and Manchester.

A group of young people from HideOut youth zone, Manchester and from the Ark Elvin Academy and Young Brent Foundation in London will participate in 12 workshops to plan, produce, record and edit podcasts, with the guidance and support from the talkSPORT programming team.

The Broadcast Academy will give the participants skills and knowledge in recording and broadcast and also an insight into the range of job opportunities available in sports media. The young people will interview Raheem himself and speak to several well-known sports personalities from talkSPORT.

The podcasts will then be shared across the Raheem Sterling Foundation and talkSPORT platforms.

To wrap up the project, all students will be invited to the talkSPORT studios and attend a celebratory event to recognise their efforts and hard work throughout the programme.
